BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The sites for the 2021 and 2022 Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC), MAWPC-West Region, Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) and Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division II and III Championships are now available.
Following a 2020 season in which the CWPA Division II and III along with the NWPC Championships were not contested due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2021 season should bring the return of the leagues’ normal championship slate.
Princeton University (Princeton, N.J.), the United States Naval Academy (Annapolis, Md.) and Salem University (Mylan Park Aquatic Center, Morgantown, W.Va.) will host the 2021 NWPC, MAWPC and MAWPC-West Championships, respectively, while Mercyhurst University (Erie, Pa.) and Connecticut College (New London, Conn.) serve as sites for the CWPA Division II and III events.
In 2022, the NWPC Championship comes to Harvard University (Cambridge, Mass.) with Fordham University (Bronx, N.Y.) hosting the MAWPC Championship. Gannon will host the MAWPC-West Championship, while Gannon and Penn State Behrend will also host the CWPA Division II and III events in Erie.
