BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Becca Dabrowski (Sr., McHenry, Ill./West) of Division III No. 10-ranked Monmouth College tallied 24 goals, 11 assists, 17 steals and 14 drawn kickouts during a 3-1 weekend for the Fighting Scots in league competition at Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio, to earn recognition as the March 4 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III Player of the Week.

Dabrowski, who earned status as the February 25 CWPA Division III Defensive Player of the Week seven days ago, opened the first weekend of CWPA Division III-Western Region action on Saturday, March 2, by ripping in eight goals to account for over half of her team’s damage in a 15-6 dispatching of Carthage College.  She followed up the performance with six goals in a 13-10 loss to Division III No. 8/two-time (2017, 2018) defending CWPA Division III Champion Macalester College.

On Sunday, March 3, Dabrowski added a pair of markers in a 14-12 defeat of Austin College prior to pumping in eight more strikes in a 16-13 victory over host Wittenberg.

Overall, she either scored or assisted on 35 of her team’s 55 total goals during the weekend and brook the 200 career goal plateau as she now has 201 tallies in her time with the Fighting Scots.
