BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Long Island University head coach Gabby Juarez will be joined by former St. Francis College Brooklyn assistant coach Morgan Allison for the upcoming men’s season.

Named to Juarez’s LIU women’s water polo staff in January 2024, Allison served as an assistant coach for the men’s and women’s teams at St. Francis Brooklyn during the 2022-23 academic year.

A 2017 graduate of St. Francis Brooklyn with a bachelor of arts in Communications and a concentration in Public Relations and Advertising, as well as a minor in Sports Management, Allison was a four-year member of the women’s water polo team and captain her senior year.  A competitor on the swimming & diving team in her junior and senior years, she was an active student-athlete advisory committee during her tenure as an athlete. 

Upon graduation, Allison started working at a local private high school coordinating all their alumni events and development publications and fundraising campaigns as the Associate Director of Institutional Advancement and Events. After working at the high school, she returned to SFC to work in the development office as the Assistant Director for Annual Giving. After one year, she switched her career and went into corporate event management.

The Perkasie, Pa., native aided SFC head coach Ilija Duretic as the Terriers’ men’s team returned to the Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) title game during the Fall 2022 season and claimed a second place finish during the regular season as the team finished with a 21-10 record to post the program’s first 20-win season since 2013.
