2026 Mount St. Mary’s University Men’s Water Polo Schedule

EMMITSBURG, Md. Mount St. Mary’s University men’s water polo will contest 23 games and the Gary Troyer Tournament during the regular season as the squad released its 2026 schedule.

Competition begins on Friday-Sunday, September 4-6, at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis., Md., as the Mountaineers face the host Midshipmen, Austin College and the United States Air Force Academy during the Navy Open.  A week later, Mount St. Mary’s heads over to Princeton University in Princeton, N.J., for clashes with Long Island University, Saint Mary’s College of California, Iona University and the host Tigers at the Princeton Invitational on Friday-Sunday, September 11-13.

The road remains the domain of the Mount for the weekend of Saturday-Sunday, September 19-20, as the team heads up to Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pa., for the Bucknell Invitational with slated contests against Fordham University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a rematch with Long Island.

The Laker Invitational hosted in Erie, Pa., occurs next as the Mountaineers meet Gannon University, Bucknell, Penn State Berhend and Mercyhurst on Saturday-Sunday, September 26-27.

Following a West Coast trip to compete at the Gary Troyer Memorial Invitational during the weekend of Saturday-Sunday, October 3-4, the team returns to the East Coast for battles at Bucknell (Saturday, October 10) in Lewisbug before treking to the Empire States to meet Wagner College and Fordham University (Saturday, October 17) in Staten Island and the Bronx, N.Y.

Mount St. Mary’s will contest a trio of home games from Saturday, October 24-to-Sunday, November 8, as the team hosts George Washington University (October 24), Mercyhurst (Saturday, October 31) and Wagner (November 8) at the ARCC (Athletic Recreation Convocation Complex) in Emmitsburg to bookend a pair of road games at Navy and George Washington on Saturday, November 7.

The Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) Championship will take place on Friday-Sunday, November 20-22, at Bucknell with the victor earning the league’s automatic berth to the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Championship on Friday-Sunday, December 4-6, at the University of California-San Diego in La Jolla, Calif.
