BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Aaron Tarr (Fr., Johannesburg, South Africa/Westville Boys) scored seven goals, handed out five assists, collected two steals and earned 12 exclusions during a 1-2 weekend for Mount St. Mary’s University at the Bucknell Invitational hosted by Bucknell University on Saturday-Sunday, September 16-17. Based on his performance, he earns recognition as the September 18 Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) Rookie of the Week.
He scored once on Saturday, September 16, in a 15-9 defeat of Mercyhurst University. On Sunday, September 17, he did not tally a a marker in the Mountaineers’ 16-8 loss to Salem University, but recorded his best game of the weekend versus No. 17-ranked/defending MAWPC Champion Fordham University.
Facing the Rams, he pumped in six goals to account for over half of Mount St. Mary’s scoring in a 21-11 league loss to the defending MAWPC Champions.
