INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) has named Steve Redding as men’s and women’s water polo National Coordinator of Officials.
The position of NCAA National Coordinator of Officials is charged with promoting better communication between officials, coaches and the NCAA, and assisting in providing consistency in the interpretation of NCAA water polo officiating mechanics. Additionally, the national coordinator assists the NCAA Water Polo Committee in the identification, training, selection and evaluation of officials for each of the NCAA water polo championships.
Redding replaces Amber Drury who assumed the position as Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) Supervisor of Officials following six years of service to the NCAA.
