BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) published the organization’s Rating Percentage Index (RPI) calculations for women’s water polo through games of Sunday, March 30.
The second RPI ranking of the year in women’s water polo, the rating is utilized to compare teams based upon a program’s wins, losses and strength of schedule.
A total of three Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) institutions rate among the Top 10 as Stanford University, the University of Southern California, the University of California-Los Angeles, the University of Hawaii, the University of California, Indiana University, Harvard University, Princeton University, Long Beach State University and the University of Michigan rank at No. 1-to-10, respectively.
Harvard (No. 7), Princeton (No. 8), Michigan (No. 10), Brown University (No. 20), Bucknell University (No. 23), Saint Francis University (No. 35), Austin College (No. 44), Mercyhurst University (No. 45), Macalester College (No. 40), Washington & Jefferson College (No. 41), Augustana College (No. 44), Mercyhurst University (No. 46), Washington & Jefferson College (No. 47), Augustana College (No. 48), Macalester College (No. 51), Carthage College (No. 55), Penn State Behrend (No. 56), Grove City College (No. 61), Connecticut College (No. 62) and Wheaton College (No. 63) comprise the entirety of the CWPA institutions ranked among the 63 NCAA water polo institutions.
