BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) has released the organization’s Men’s Water Polo Committee for the 2020-21 academic year. The committee changes by two members as Washington & Jefferson College men’s and women’s head coach Nikola Malezanov replaces Connecticut College men’s and women’s head coach Matt Anderson following the conclusion of his tenure as the Division III representative. One position remains open as of September 10 due to departure of an administrator.
Malezanov will serve until August 2014 and joins United States Air Force Academy Associate Director of Athletics Lt. Col. George Nelson (August 2023), Friends of Harvard University Water Polo Coach Ted Minnis (August 2022) and Long Beach State University Director of Athletics Andrew Fee (August 2022) on the committee.
Per the guidelines of the NCAA, the Men’s Water Polo Committee shall consist of six members and shall be constituted as follows: Two members shall be from the East Region; Two members shall be from the West Region; One member shall be selected at large; and an additional member shall by the Secretary-Rules Editor (Penn State Behrend Director of Athletics Brian Streeter).
