BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Emma Gustaffson (Jr., Greenwich, Conn./Greenwich) of No. 12-ranked the University of Michigan accounted for 10 goals in three Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) games at Bucknell University on Saturday-Sunday, February 21-22, to garner laurels as the February 23 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Player of the Week.
A prior three-time Player of the Week (2024: March 25; 2025: January 20, March 24) and Rookie of the Week (2024: January 22, February 19, April 8), she opened the weekend with two goals and an assist in a 14-8 defeat of No. 20 Brown University on February 21. On Sunday, February 22, she added three goals in a 14-13 dispatching of defending CWPA Champion/No. 13 Harvard University prior to racking up five strikes in a 20-7 handling of the host Bison.
