CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — No. 13-ranked Harvard University completed a 3-0 weekend at the 2026 Princeton Invitational hosted by Princeton University as the Crimson beat Long Island University, 18-10, No. 8 Indiana University, 9-8, and Iona University 15-5, over the weekend at Princeton University’s DeNunzio Pool to stay undefeated at 6-0. The Crimson have defeated LIU and Iona twice this season and picked claim a victory over a Top 10 team.
On Saturday, January 31, Maya O’Dea, Lily Britt, Nki Piovan and Sofia Del Villar posted hat-tricks as Harvard reeled in the LIU Sharks. Petra Klemm, Ella Schneider, Emma Gilbert and Lucy Berkman all scored once to support a 15-save effort by goalkeeper Orli Cooper.
On Sunday, February 1, Harvard struck down the Hoosiers of Indiana as Piovan, O’Dea and Schneider found the back of the net twice.
Klemm, Beatrice Hearey and Heidi Heffelfinger each scored once as Harvard never trailed in turning back to the Top 10-ranked Hoosiers.
Cooper made 13 stops in the big win as the Crimson improve to 3-20 all-time against Indiana since the series began in 1997 with prior wins in 2016 (February 16 – 12-11 OT W – at Brown University) and 2017 (April 28- 12-11 W at Indiana)..
In the team’s weekend finale, the Crimson blunted the Gaels of Iona thanks to trios of tallies from Heffelfinger, O’Dea and Piovan.
Klemm added a pair of goals with .Del Villar, Schneider, and Hearey putting away solo strikes.
