LORETTO, Pa. — Saint Francis University’s Marialena Seletopoulou (Glyfada, Athens, Greece/Yannopoulos School) scored two goals, but No. 13-ranked Indiana University swarmed to an early lead and never looked back in claiming a 15-5 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I league victory at Stokes Natatorium.

The Hoosiers got off to a fast start scoring three goals out of the sprint. The Red Flash fell behind 4-0 before a Seleopoulou tally put Saint Francis on the board. Indiana tallied another goal to make it 5-1 when the first quarter ended.

The second quarter was a meat grinder of exclusions and defensive play with the exception of the minute where the only three goals of the period were scored to push Indiana out to a 7-2 lead by halftime.

A Missy McCreary (Altadena, Calif./LaSalle (Citrus College)) goal in the third period cut the deficit to 10-5, but the Red Flash would get no closer as the Hoosiers finished off the game on 5-0 run.
