BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Charlotte Riches (Jr., Laguna Beaach, Calif./Laguna Beach) of No. 14-ranked Princeton University scored six goals and drew a trio of exclusions against No. 7 Loyola Marymount University and Fresno Pacific University on Saturday, March 7, during the Tigers’ opening Spring Break games in California. For her performance, Riches cashed in to take the March 9 Collegiate Water Polo Association Division I Player of the Week award.
Competing in a pair of Convergence Tournament games at Pomona-Pitzer Colleges’ Haldeman Pool, she scored once in a 10-8 loss to LMU prior to posting a career-high score markers in a 24-4 dispatching of Fresno Pacific.
