ANN ARBOR, MI. — No. 15-ranked Harvard University women’s water polo picked up a pair of wins versus Bucknell University and Saint Francis University in Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I action at the University of Michigan. The Crimson scored 18 goals in both games on its way to an 18-9 win over Bucknell before closing the afternoon with another decisive 18-8 win over Saint Francis.
Against Bucknell, Sasha Constandse netted her first four-goal game of the season, while Grace Thawley added a hat-trick in the victory.
Ella Schneider, Evan Tingler, Borden Wahl and Erin Kim all scored two goals each with the trio of Dany Zapata, Brooke Hourigan and Heidi Heffelfinger all finding the back of the net once against the Bison.
Zoe Banks made five saves to earn the win.
Capping off the day against Saint Francis, seniors Thawley, Hourigan, Tingler, Jaiden Miller and Wahl all scored two goals.
Ruby Hodge and Annabel Facey also scored pairs of goals with the trio of Annabelle Bisconti, Zapata and Kaity Greenwald striking for solo tallies.
Banks stopped four shots to collect her second victory of the day.
