PROVIDENCE, R.I. — No. 19-ranked Brown University concluded the program’s 2025 Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) regular season slate of games by dispatching Long Island University, 13-8, and Iona University, 17-10, during Senior Day in a pair of home contests at the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center.

Facing LIU, the Bears started their Senior Day game off strong with the first goal of the game scored by Roberto Serrano. Ilias Stothart scored four goals for Brown with Mac Berry netting three tallies.

Daniel Hadar, Dominik Balla and Jeremy Tachiki all had two assists.

Kole Newman blocked 13 scoring tries by the Sharks to earn the win in cage.

Taking on Iona, Jaxson Tierney scored two minutes into the game as the Bears took command of the contest early to avenge a 13-11 road loss on October 5 in New Rochelle. Tierney scored five goals, while Stothart, Berry and Griffin Tunney each registered three goals. Tunney also had six assists during the game.

Along with 13 saves, goalkeeper Dimitrios Kratimenos also clinched his fifth goal of the season from across the pool with just 0.1 seconds left in the first quarter as the Bears rolled to victory.
