CAMBRIDGE, MASS. — The No. 19-ranked Harvard University women’s water polo came away with a morning victory over Santa Clara University, 13-4, to start the final day of the Harvard Invitational before falling to No. 18 Wagner College, 10-6, in the afternoon game. 

Against Santa Clara, Annabel Facey and Kaity Greenwald both tallied pairs of goals, while Emma Gilbert added a hat-trick with three markers. 

Lily Britt, Lucy Berkman, Ella Prentice, Ruby Hodge and Ella Schneider all scored once. 

Alexis Kieckhafer made a season-high 12 stops in the win. 

In the late game versus Wagner, Facey added another pair of goals to finish the day with four strikes. 

Prentice, Maya O’Dea, Heidi Heffelfinger and Gilbert all scored once. 

Schneider added two assists, while Kiekchafer posted six stops.
