CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — No. 19-ranked Harvard University kicked off a packed weekend with a 10-7 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) defeat of visiting No. 20 Brown University at home in Blodgett Pool.
The Crimson used a fast start – powered by two early goals from Erin Kim – to defeat the Bears.
Alexis Kieckhafer backstopped the effort with 10 saves in net, while Maya O’Dea led the Crimson with four goals, including the eventual game-winner.
O’Dea scored the sixth, eighth, ninth and tenth goals down the stretch to help Harvard seal the win.
Erin Kim netted the first two Harvard goals to get the Crimson going in the first quarter.
Ruby Hodge added two goals – the fourth and fifth – in the action, while also adding an assist on the eventual game-winner.
