PRINCETON, N.J. — The No. 19-ranked Princeton University Tigers allowed just one second half goal, running away from the La Salle University Explorers, 12-3, at DeNunzio Pool.

Even at one-all after eight minutes, Princeton ran off four straight goals in the second quarter before settling with a 6-2 halftime lead.

La Salle’s Stephanie Morales scored the first tally of the second half at the 5:13 mark.

The Explorers didn’t score the rest of the game.

That’s 13:13 of game time.

Princeton scored three more times in the third quarter and three more in the fourth stanza to cruise to the win. Marissa Webb made eight of her 14 stops in the second half to help the Tigers pick up their fourth straight victory.

Princeton had nine different players score in the game.

Maddie Pendolino, Genevieve Fraipoint and Amy Castellano each scored twice with Laura Larkin, Nicole Kresich, Alana Evans, Margarita Orlova, Annie Robinson and Maisie McPherson all tacking on solo markers.
