LEWISBURG, Pa. — Jovana Sekulic and Kaila Carroll combined for nine goals as the No. 20-ranked Tigers of Princeton University bested the host Bison of Bucknell University, 15-9, at Kinney Natatorium.

After combining for 10 goals in a 22-8 league victory at Mount St. Mary’s University, the dynamic duo put up nine as Sekulic dropped in five tallies and Carroll chipped in four.

The Tigers have now won nine straight games and currently 11-2 overall.

Head coach Derek Ellingson‘s squad scored seven straight goals after Bucknell registered the first tally of the game. The Tigers held a 10-3 halftime advantage before stretching their lead to nine, 13-4, with 1:44 to go in the third stanza. Bucknell closed the gap to five before a goal by Kate Mallery finished up the scoring with 37 seconds left.

Mallery concluded the game with a pair, while Grace Houlahan, Cici Stewart, Genevieve Fraipont and Meera Burghardt tacked on single scores in support of an eight save effort by goalie Isabel Zaller.

For Bucknell, Larissa Hodzic posted three goals.  Boati Motau, Isabelle Monaghan and Chloe Smith each added pairs.
