PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — The No. 20-ranked Princeton University Tigers used nine different goal scorers to take down the host La Salle University Explorers, 10-8, at Kirk Pool.

The Tigers scored the first two goals of the game and led by one after the first frame. After a tally from Kate Mallery, La Salle registered the next two tallies to tie the contest at three-all halfway through the second quarter. An Annie Robinson goal had Princeton ahead, 4-3, at halftime.

The two teams exchanged goals before tallies from CiCi Stewart and Delainey Whelan pushed the Tigers ahead 7-4 with 48 seconds left in the third quarter. This time, La Salle registered consecutive goals to get within one as the fourth stanza got underway.

Princeton put the battle away with three straight goals, extending the lead to four, 10-6. La Salle was held off the scoreboard the final 2:08 as Princeton secured the win.
