WASHINGTON, D.C. — Behind a five-goal performance from Eliza Britt, the No. 22-ranked Princeton University Tigers evened their record at 4-4 with a 15-11 victory at George Washington University.
After trailing by one goal after eight minutes, Princeton tied the game just 27 seconds into the second quarter. The two teams exchanged tallies before the Tigers ripped off a three-goal spurt to take a 6-3 advantage. In front, 7-4, as the third quarter got underway, Princeton scored four consecutive times and eventually took a 12-6 lead into the final stanza. George Washington never got closer than three markers the rest of the way.
