SAN JOSE, Calif. — In a week of tight, top ten match-ups, the No. 5-ranked Fordham University water polo team found itself in another one on the last day of the 2025 Julian Fraser Memorial Tournament to wrap up its West Coast swing. In the end, Andras Toth scored his third goal of the game with 1:22 left in the fourth quarter as the Rams picked up a 10-9 win at host/No. 8 San Jose State University.
With the win, Fordham improve to 15-3 on the year, while San Jose State drops to 9-6.

The Rams rallied in the third quarter, tying the game at five-all via markers by Barnabas Eppel and Balazs Berenyi. Berenyi scored his second goal of the quarter later in the frame with Luca Silvestri also finding the cage to set the scoreboard at seven-all heading into the final frame.
Silvestri netted the first two goals of the fourth for a 9-7 lead, but the Spartans tallied goals on a power play and a penalty shot to tie the game at nine-all with 1:49 left remaining in regulation.
