University of Pittsburgh-vs.-No. 9 University of Texas Scoresheet (2026 Women’s National Collegiate Club Championship – Game #12)

CARLISLE, Pa. — Player of the Game Jamie Chin (Gr., Bellevue, Wash.) scored four times as No. 9-ranked/No. 8 position/Texas Division Champion the University of Texas shutout No. 16 position/Mid-Atlantic Division runner-up the University of Pittsburgh, 12-0, in the 12th and final game on Day One of the 2026 Women’s National Collegiate Club Championship.

Competing at the Carlisle YMCA Aquatic Center, the Longhorns outscored the Panthers 2-0, 5-0, 3-0 and 2-0 in the first-to-fourth quarters, respectively, as Texas guaranteed itself a game on Sunday, April 19, due to the victory.  Texas will takes on No. 4/No. 12 seed/Southeast Division Champion the University of Florida at 1:40 p.m. Eastern on Saturday, April 18, to determine if either the Longhorns or Gators will contest the Ninth or 11th Place games on Sunday, April 19.

The loss drops Pitt into a 13th/15h place game on Saturday, April 18, as the Panthers will tangle with No. 12/No. 13 position/Northwest Division Champion the University of Washington at 8:40 p.m. 

For Texas, Chin scored four times with Cameron Flannery (Fr., Bellevue, Wash.) and Gracie Lander (So., Buda, Texas) chipping in pairs.  Maya Nanayakkara (Sr., Flower Mound, Texas), Kennedy Hudson (Sr., Houston, Texas), Brooke Murdock (So., Yorba Linda, Calif.) and Jordan Svatek (Fr., Helotes, Texas) notched solo markers to support a 14 save performance by goalkeeper AJ Watson (Sr., McGregor, Texas).

Hannah Hosterman (Fr., Harleysville, Pa.) took the loss for Pitt with 10 saves.
