BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Nominations for the 2020-21 Men’s Scholar-Athlete Team are due by Friday, April 2, for varsity and collegiate club student-athletes. All current men’s collegiate club and varsity student-athletes are eligible irregardless of whether they competed during the 2020-21 academic year.
The Scholar-Athlete Team is open to all athletes (freshmen and up) that competed during the season.
To be selected, student-athletes must be active participants on the team and a full-time student at the institution which nominated them. Freshmen through graduate students are eligible for the award.
Nominees must achieve a 3.2 cumulative Grade Point Average or higher based on the most recent grades (fall semester for men).
Student-athletes were recognized in three levels: 3.2 to 3.4 (Excellent), 3.41 to 3.7 (Superior) and 3.71 to 4.0 (Outstanding).
In addition, varsity and club teams with cumulative GPA’s at or above 2.75 are recognized by the conference for overall excellence.
All nominations for the Scholar-Athlete Team can be submitted by email to haas@collegiatewaterpolo.org. Please list athletes with First & Last Name, Institution and GPA (i.e. John Smith XYZ University 3.95).
