BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Notre Dame College alum Gina-Bella Mata’afa is continuing her water polo career as the 23-year old is currently competing in Italy.
Her continuing water polo adventure comes after playing four years at Notre Dame College in Ohio and competing at Durham University in England while earning a Masters Degree in International Management. It was after her final season at Durham that she was contacted by a sports agency called Palombella, which recruits players for professional teams in Italy.
She made her debut for Imperia on Sunday in a 15-9 win over Locatelli.
