BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the officials and referee evaluators for the 2026 CWPA Championship, CWPA Division III Championship and Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Championship at the University of Michigan, Wheaton College (Mass.) and Marist University, respectively, during the weekend of Friday-Sunday, April 10-12.
Jesus Mejia and Damon Newman join evaluator Erik Farrar as the officiating crew for the MAAC Championship at Marist in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., on Saturday-Sunday, April 11-12. Competition begins on Saturday, April 11, as No. 24-ranked Villanova University meets No. 21 Wagner College and No. 18 Marist faces La Salle University. The MAAC Championship will be decided in a title game on Sunday, April 12.
Corey Luigard, Omar Mossab, Tiffani Ruiz-Urbanski and Mark Veszi join evaluator Ed Reed at Wheaton in Norton, Mass. for the CWPA Division III Championship at Wheaton on Friday-Sunday, April 10-12. The 15-game championship with Division III No. 4 Augustana College, Austin College, Carthage College, Connecticut College, Grove City College, Division III No. 6 Macalester College, Penn State Behrend, Washington & Jefferson College and the host Lyons spans three days with the top two squads earning berths in the 2026 USA Water Polo Division III Championship hosted by a Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) institution on Saturday-Sunday, April 25-26.
Easton Honaker, Alex Stankevitch, Val Vasilchikov and Stephanie Villalobos along with evaluator Michael Goldenberg will officiate the three-day, 10-game CWPA Championship at Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich., on Friday-Sunday, April 10-12. No. 23 Brown University, Bucknell University, No. 11 Harvard University, Mercyhurst University, No. 12 Princeton University, Saint Francis University and the host/No. 12 Wolverines will vie for the league crown and automatic berth to the 2026 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Championship hosted by the University of California-San Diego in La Jolla, Calif., on Friday-Sunday, April 24-26.
