BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Jessica Cruser (Jr., Walnut Creek, Calif./Las Lomas) of Oregon State University “A” contributed nine goals, five assists, nine steals and a field block during a 3-1 weekend for the Beavers at Echo Hollow Pool in Eugene, Oregon, to pick-up February 24 Women’s Collegiate Club Northwest Division co-Player of the Week acclaim.
She shares the honor with Anika Harding (Sr., Danville, Calif./Monte Vista) who posted 10 goals, seven assists and eight steals during a 4-0 weekend for the University of Washington “A”.
Cruser helped OSU “A” defeat the University of Oregon “B” (10-3 W), Western Washington University (18-3 W) and Washington “B” (13-0 W) to accompany an 8-7 loss in overtime to Oregon “A” to conclude the regular season with a 6-2 record.
Due to its record, Oregon State “A” clinched the No. 2 seed for the Northwest Division Championship on Saturday-Sunday, March 1-2, at the Salvation Army’s Kroc Center in Couer d’Alene, Idaho.
