WASHINGTON, Pa. — Penn State Behrend closed out its participation at the 2019 Washington & Jefferson College Invitational by falling to Division III No. 9 Occidental College, 16-8, and Villanova University, 26-3.

Facing Occidental, Mackensie Robie (Girard, Pa./Girard) tallied 10 saves in goal including one assist.  Lauren Wood (Vernon Hills, Ill./Vernon Hills) led the offense with six goals and two field blocks.

Allison McClure (Loveland, Ohio/Milford) followed with two goals, three steals, three assists and a field block, while Daniella Rios (Guaynabo, Puerto Rico/Sagrados Corazones) and Carson Hagood (Orlando, Fla./Bishop Moore Catholic) each finished with two steals and one assist.

Against Villanova, McClure led the team with four steals, one goal, and one assist.  Angela Laier (Lansing, Mich./Holt) tallied three steals and one field block.

Rios and Barbie Cessar (Slippery Rock, Pa./Slippery Rock) each had two steals while Wood finished with one steal and two goals.
