ERIE, Pa. — Brittany Pinter will begin her first season of coaching water polo at Penn State Behrend during the 2017-18 academic year after completing a stellar four-year career for the Lions.
Pinter garnered All-America status and team Most Valuable Player (MVP) honors, while setting five new program records her senior year. She tallied three season records including steals (92), field blocks (12) and shooting percentage (.460). Pinter now holds the career record in career steals (296) and career assists (88). This season, she scored 25 goals to go with 27 assists and 26 drawn kickouts.
Pinter was also named to the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III All-Conference team her sophomore and junior years.
She earned her undergraduate degree from Behrend in accounting in May 2017, and is pursuing her Masters in Business Administration (MBA).
