BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Alison McClure (Sr., Loveland, Ohio/Loveland) of Penn State Behrend performed on both ends of the tank for the Lions during a 1-1 week as she made 12 saves and posted five steals in cage, while notching a goal, nine steals, four drawn kickouts and an assist in the field.  For her efforts, she is named the March 16 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III Defensive Player of the Week.

Pressed into service between the pipes after the team’s starting goalie fractured a finger and facing Division III No. 9-ranked Occidental College on Monday, March 9, she made seven saves in suffering a 19-8 setback at the Tigers.  McClure turned the tides, however, on Tuesday, March 10, by turning away five scoring attempts in a 13-10 defeat of the California Institute of Technology.
