BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Penn State Behrend’s Chloe Dodgen (Jr., Riverside, Calif./Hillcrest) tallied 30 saves with four steals and four assists for the Lions during the concluding Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III-East Region regular season weekend at Connecticut College to earn status as the April 11 CWPA Division III Defensive Player of the Week.

A two-time Defensive Player of the Week selection following a prior nod on March 15, 2021, Dodgen combined with Julie de Deus (Fr., Pembroke Pines, Fla./Pembroke Pines) to stop 10 shots in a 10-5 weekend opening victory versus Utica University on Saturday, April 9.  Later in the day, she turned aside 11 shots as Penn State Behrend topped the host Camels, 18-8.

On Sunday, April 10, she made seven saves in an 11-7 loss to Washington & Jefferson College prior to swatting down nine scoring tries in a 13-12 overtime defeat of Grove City College.
