BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Shannon Young (Jr., Roseville, Calif./Roseville) of Penn State Behrend registered five goals, four assists and four steals during a 1-1 week in California to earn the March 14 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III Player of the Week award.
A two-time CWPA Player of the Week selection with previous honors on March 16, 2020, Young posted two assists, a drawn exclusion and three steals in a 12-8 loss at Division III No. 10-ranked Occidental College on March 7. She concluded the week with five goals, two assists and a steal in a 12-8 victory at the California Institute of Technology on March 8.
