BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Claire Washabaugh (Jr., Pittsburgh, Pa.) of Pennsylvania State University scored 14 goals and handed out six assists in a 4-0 weekend for the Nittany Lions in league play to take recognition as the March 26 Women’s Collegiate Club Mid-Atlantic Division Player of the Week.
She aided PSU’s efforts in downing the University of Pittsburgh (10-4 W), Carnegie Mellon University (14-7 W), the University of Pittsburgh (11-4 W) and Ohio University (19-6 W) at the University of Pennsylvania’s Pottruck Health and Fitness Center in Philadelphia, on Saturday-Sunday, March 24-25, as Penn State concluded the regular season with a perfect 8-0 mark in regular season divisional action.
