BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Emily Argentati (So., Reading, Pa./Governor Mifflin) of Pennsylvania State University recorded 16 goals, four assists, seven steals and a pair of field blocks in a 2-2 weekend for the Nittany Lions at the University of Notre Dame Invitational to earn notice as the February 27 Women’s Collegiate Club Mid-Atlantic Division Player of the Week.
She scored eight goals in a narrow 12-11 loss by the No. 13-ranked Nittany Lions to No. 17 Michigan State University. Further, Argentati aided Penn State’s cause as the team downed the University of Illinois (13-8 W) and No. 7 Grand Valley State University (6-4 W) to accompany an 11-8 loss to the host Irish of Notre Dame.
