BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Molly Goodman (Fr., Harleysville, Pa./Souderton) of Pennsylvania State University “A” registered 10 goals, 12 assists, six steals and a pair of field blocks during a 4-0 weekend for the Nittany Lions at No. 19-ranked West Chester University in West Chester, Pa., to earn recognition as the March 24 Women’s Collegiate Club Mid-Atlantic Division Player of the Week.

Entering the weekend with a 1-3 record due to forfeiting games during the weekend of February 22-23 at the University to Pittsburgh to take part in the charitable THON 46-hour dance marathon to enhance the lives of children and families impacted by childhood cancer, Penn State “A” knocked off the University of Pittsburgh “A” (8-7 W), the University of Pittsburgh “B” (13-3 W), the University of Pennsylvania (18-9 W) and the host Golden Rams (10-9 W). 

Courtesy the 4-0 mark, Penn State “A” improved to 5-3 in the division standings to clinch the No. 3 seed for the upcoming Mid-Atlantic Division Championship on Saturday-Sunday, March 29-30, at Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pa.
