BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Sofia Viebranz (So., Erie, Pa./McDowell) of Pennsylvania State University racked up three steals and 26 saves in 112 minutes of action at the University of Notre Dame Invitational to collect accolades as the February 26 Women’s Collegiate Club Mid-Atlantic Division Player of the Week.
She helped the Nittany Lions down Michigan State University (9-5 W), the University of Illinois (8-4 W), the host Fighting Irish (12-8 W) and California State University-Chico (12-4 W) to complete a perfect weekend of competition.
