PRINCETON, N.J. — The Princeton University women’s water polo team has announced its incoming Class of 2029.

Abby Folk (Ashburn, Ontario, Canada/Port Perry)

  • Port Perry: Ran track and cross country … Helped the cross-country team to the 4OSSA gold and OFFSA bronze medals in 2025 … Earned the team Most Valuable Player (MVP) award … Honor Roll … Francis Newton Scholarship.
  • Mavericks Water Polo Club: Earned the top club award for 2024-25 … Helped the 17U squad to first in Eastern Conference and fourth nationally in 2022-23 while earning All-Star honors … Won 15U Eastern title and was the team Most Valuable Defensive Player in 2021-22 … Led 14U to third at Easterns and 12U to the provincial title.
  • Fraser Valley: Helped unit to NCL National Championship after collecting MVP honors in 2025 … Was the Western Conference’s top goal scorer and was an All-Star in 2025 … Nabbed All-Star honors in 2024.
    Team Ontario: Provincial Championship All-Star in 2024.
  • Capital Wave: Paced 14U to second at provincials and third at Easterns.
  • Personal: Daughter of Jennifer and Trevor Folk … Has a brother, Noah.

Katie McCullough (Wynnewood, Pa./The Baldwin School)
