2025 Princeton University Men’s Water Polo Schedule
PRINCETON, N.J. – The reigning four-time Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) Champion Tigers of Princeton University announced the program’s 2025 men’s water polo schedule.
“After graduating 10 student-athletes from the great Class of 2025, the returning players, incoming guys, and staff are eager to compete this fall and build on the successes of those that came before,” said head coach Dustin Litvak.
“Once again, we have put together a formidable schedule against the nation’s best college teams as well as two of the top international professional clubs in an exciting early season exhibition series. We have several games on our slate, both home and away, that will put us to the test, mentally, physically and emotionally, with the goal again to make the NCAA tournament and compete for a National Championship. As excited as I am to get started with this group in mid-August, I am more than anything looking forward to the growth of this group throughout the season.”
The Tigers’ first completion of the season is against FTC, a Hungarian team in New York City in an exhibition on September 3. The Princeton Invitational runs from September 5-7 with the Tigers taking on six squads including Pro Recco (September 6), an Italian professional team.
Princeton participates in the Navy Invitational at the United States Naval Academy on September 12-13 before heading to the West Coast for the Overnight Invitational in Los Angeles, Calif., on September 19-21. The month of September ends with a triple-header at defending Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) Champion Fordham University, Iona University and Long Island University as NWPC action gets underway. Fordham went 32-1 last season, winning the MAWPC Championship. The Rams took down Long Beach State University in the NCAA Tournament before taking national finalist the University of Southern California (USC) to the brink before falling in overtime, 18-16.
October begins with NWPC play at DeNunzio Pool against the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) on October 4, Brown University on October 5 and Harvard University on October 5).
Litvak’s group heads back out west to take on the University of California-Los Angeles (UCLA) (October 11), Pepperdine University (October 12), USC (October 14), the University of California-Irvine (October 15), Long Beach State (October 16) and the University of California-San Diego (October 18).
November commences with another triple-header with Fordham, Iona and LIU at DeNunzio Pool on November 1. The regular season finishes at Brown (November 8), Harvard (November 9) and MIT (November 9).
