BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Amy Castellano (Jr., Yorba Linda, Calif./Yorba Linda) posted nine points off four goals and a career high five assists during a 15-7 victory by No. 14-ranked Princeton University at Villanova University to earn February 18 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I co-Player of the Week status.
Her five assists are tied for the fifth most in a single-game during Princeton women’s water polo history.
She shares honors as the league’s Player of the Week with Emily Konishi (Sr., Santa Ana, Calif./Foothill) of No. 22 Bucknell University who tallied 17 goals, 11 assists and 16 steals during a 4-0 weekend for the Bison at the Mercyhurst University Invitational.
