BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Goalie Antonio Knez (Fr., Dubrovnik, Croatia/Gimnazia Dubrovnik) of No. 18-ranked Princeton University made 20 saves – tied for the third most in program history for a single game – during a 13-5 league victory over No. 20 St. Francis College Brooklyn to earn recognition as the October 14 Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) Rookie of the Week.

A three-time weekly honor recipient from the league office following a pair of NWPC Defensive Player of the Week nods on September 23 and October 7, Knez started in cage for the Tigers on Sunday, October 13, as Princeton downed the Terriers in a road/home game.  The contest was originally slated to occur at St. Francis Brooklyn in Brooklyn Heights on Saturday, October 12, but was moved to Princeton’s DeNunzio Pool due to a facility issue at SFC.
