BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Finn LeSieur (Fr., Newport Beach, Calif./Newport Harbor) of No. 6-ranked Princeton University racked up six goals and four assists with four steals in helping the Tigers take down No. 17 Brown University, No. 19 Harvard University and Division III No. 5 the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) over the weekend at home in DeNunzio Natatorium during Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) action. For his performance, LeSieur garners accolades as the October 2 NWPC Rookie of the Week.
A first-time weekly honor recipient from the league office, LeSieur netted two goals, three assists and two steals in helping the Tigers claw past Harvard, 17-11, on Saturday, September 30, prior to chipping in a pair of markers during a 14-7 managing of MIT.
On Sunday, October 1, he capped off his weekend by putting away a pair of shots and grabbing two steals as Princeton pounced on Brown, 15-9.
