BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Senior Jordan Colina (Sr., San Diego, Calif./Cathedral Catholic) of No. 11-ranked Princeton University led the Tigers to a .500 finish at the competitive Mountain Pacific Invitational this weekend, netting 12 goals, three assists and four steals to secure the September 25 Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) Player of the Week award.

In the first game of the weekend on Friday, September 22, Colina scored two goals and added three steals, one block and one drawn ejection in a 11-8 loss to No. 6 Long Beach State University. He posted four goals, including a goal in extra time to seal the Tigers victory, along with an assist in a 12-11 overtime win against over No. 19/Division III No. 1 Pomona-Pitzer Colleges on Saturday, September 23.

Princeton returned to the pool on September 23 to take on No. 7 University of California-Santa Barbara as Colina netted a hat trick in a 14-7 loss.

In his best performance of the weekend, Colina scored three times and dished out two assists with a steal in a 15-14 victory over No. 13 University of California-San Diego on Sunday, September 24, to cap off a 2-2 weekend at the Mountain Pacific Invitational.

The award marks his third NWPC Player of the Week nod of the season after previously taking the September 4 and 11 accolades.  Further, it marks his fourth career weekly honor from the league office after previously claiming status as the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Southern Division Rookie of the Week on November 3, 2014.
