BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Jovana Sekulic (So., Belgrade, Serbia/The Episcopal Academy) scored twice and drew six ejections for No. 4-ranked Princeton University at the 2023 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Women’s Water Polo Championship hosted by the University of the Pacific.  For her performance, Sekulic earns the May 15 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Player of the Week award.

A three-time Rookie of the Week selection (January 24, February 28, April 25) and the March 14 Player of the Week in 2022, she adds the seventh weekly honor to her career awards list after previously earning Player of the Week recognition in 2023 on February 27 and March 20.

She tallied a goal on Friday, May 12, as the Tigers took down No. 7 the University of California, 11-9, and punched in another tally on Saturday, May 13, as No. 2 the University of Southern California concluded Princeton’s season with an 18-8 semifinal victory.

For her performance, Sekulic was named to the 2023 NCAA Championship All-Tournament First Team.
