BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Jovana Sekulic (Fr., Belgrade, Serbia/The Episcopal Academy) of No. 19-ranked Princeton University totaled 14 goals, two assists, seven steals and four ejections drawn during a 4-0 league weekend to earn status as the February 28 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Rookie of the Week.
A two-time Rookie of the Week selection following a previous laurel on January 24, Sekulic opened the weekend with four goals and two helpers at Mount St. Mary’s University on Friday, February 25.
At Bucknell University on Saturday-Sunday, February 26-27, she helped the Tigers take down the host Bison (15-9 W), No. 23 Brown University (12-6 W) and Saint Francis University (12-5 W).
Sekulic netted five goals and two steals versus Bucknell on Saturday, February 26, prior to chipping in four goals and two seals against Brown along with a goal during the Saint Francis game.
