BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Kate Mallery (Jr., Stanford, Calif./Henry M. Gunn) of No. 16-ranked Princeton University registered eight goals during a 1-2 wee for the Tigers in California to earn recognition as the March 18 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Player of the Week.

A first-time weekly award recipient from the league office, Mallery opened the week by tying her career-high with five goals in a 14-9 defeat of Division III No. 1/No. 23 Pomona-Pitzer Colleges on Wednesday, March 13, in Claremont.  At No. 11 Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles on Friday, March 15, she chipped in a goal and an assist during a 10-8 setback.

Facing No. 1 the University of California-Los Angeles (UCLA) on Saturday, March 16, she tacked on a pair of strikes in a 10-6 defeat by the Bruins.
