BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Kayla Yelensky (Fr., Stamford, Conn./Greenwich Academy) of No. 20-ranked Princeton University produced 14 goals, six assists, nine steals and six drawn ejections during a 5-0 home weekend for the Tigers at the Princeton Invitational.  For her performance, the first-year collects status as the February 14 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Rookie of the Week.

She opened the weekend on Friday, February 11, by scoring four times in a 17-16 overtime victory versus No. 22 Long Island University.  In the nightcap, she notched three tallies as the Tigers turned back the Terriers of St. Francis College Brooklyn, 18-11.

On Saturday, February 12, she deposited a pairs in a 19-9 defeat of the Virginia Military Academy and a 14-3 CWPA league win versus No. 25 Bucknell University.

She concluded her weekend by putting away a trio of markers for her third hat-trick of the invitational as Princeton pounced on Saint Francis University, 10-3, to claim another CWPA league win.
