BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Keller Maloney (Jr., Los Angeles, Calif./Harvard-Westlake) of No. 9-ranked Princeton University collected seven points (four goals, three assists), three drawn ejections and a field block during a 2-0 week for the Tigers to garner status as the September 20 Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) Player of the Week.

Competing at home in DeNunzio Pool versus No. 20-ranked the United States Naval Academy and Wagner College on Saturday, September 25, he factored in seven of his team’s goals.  Against the Midshipmen of Navy, he picked up a goal and three assists in an 11-8 victory and followed that with a hat trick against Wagner in a 17-11 win.

On the year, Maloney has 29 goals, 16 assists and 19 drawn ejections.

The award marks the fourth weekly honor bestowed on Maloney during his intercollegiate career as he previously claimed Player of the Week status last week (September 20, 2021) after taking previous accolades on September 30, 2019.  Further, he garnered Rookie of the Week notice on November 5, 2018.
