BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Kristóf Kovács (Fr., Hódmezovásárhely, Hungary/Bethlen Gábor Reformed) of No. 6-ranked Princeton University established a personal high with 20 saves in a 16-9 victory at Iona University on Saturday, October 7, to earn the October 9 Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) Defensive Player and Rookie of the Week awards.

The September 11 and September 18 NWPC Rookie of the Week along with holding previous Defensive Player of the Week status on September 18 and September 25, the nods mark the fifth and sixth weekly accolade bestowed on the freshman during his inaugural season in the NWPC.
