BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Kristóf Kovács (Fr., Hódmezovásárhely, Hungary/Bethlen Gábor Reformed) made a season-best 19 saves during a 13-2 victory over the United States Air Force Academy at the Bucknell Invitational to earn commendation as the September 18 Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) Rookie and Defensive Player of the Week.
The awards mark the second and third of his intercollegiate tenure as Kovács previously received a nod as the September 11 Rookie of the Week.
