BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Laura Larkin (Fr., Solana Beach, Calif./Cathedral Catholic) of No. 14-ranked Princeton University contributed 10 points at the Loyola Marymount University Invitational to earn status as the March 18 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Rookie of the Week.
The award marks the second in as many weeks for Larkin who previously earned a nod as the March 11 CWPA Division I Rookie of the Week.
She scored twice and dished out a pair of assists in a 12-7 defeat of California State University-East Bay prior to assisting on two goals in an 11-9 loss to No. 19 San Jose State University. Larkin posted a hat-trick with three goals in a 13-9 victory over Division III No. 1 Pomona-Pitzer Colleges prior to wrapping up the LMU Invitational with a goal in a 10-7 defeat by the host Lions.
