BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Lindsey Lucas (So., Orinda, Calif./Miramonte) of No. 15-ranked Princeton University made 10 saves during a 13-12 overtime defeat of No. 19 Wagner College on Thursday, March 28, at home in DeNunzio Pool.  For her performance, she receives commendation as the April 1 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Defensive Player of the Week honor.

The honor marks the 16th weekly recognition of Lucas’ intercollegiate career.  Last season, she claimed the January 30, February 27 and May 15 CWPA Division I Defensive Player and Rookie of the Week awards along with notice as the February 13, March 20, April 3 and April 10 Rookie and May 1 Defensive Player of the Week.  She previously garnered Defensive Player of the Week status during the 2024 campaign by earning the February 12, February 19, March 4 and March 18 awards.

Collegiate Water Polo Association
